Elliot is one week old today. As my doctor says "I gave it a good college try" but he wanted me to go ahead and have a c-section since I didn't go into labor on my own. She was born last Friday at 10:05 a.m. weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.
She is just precious.
She only gives a little cry when she is ready to eat, but hardly utters a peep otherwise. Of course a mother is biased, but I think she is the most gorgeous little baby girl I've ever seen. It's funny how easily I forgot the newborn stage. The little stretches and yawns just about melt my heart.

Elijah is doing amazingly well as a big brother. He loves to give her kisses and when she drops her paci he says "oh no" in his tiny little voice. It's been great having my family here to give him a lot of attention. When my mom leaves I'm sure it will be a little harder for him to share his mommy time.

Manda, I am so proud of you and Ryan! Your family is amazing. I feel so very blessed to have each one of you in my life. These 2 kids are just the most adorable little angels. Love you all.
ahhhh. LOVE the update and pictures. Can't believe how Elijah's hair is getting so dark now. Elliot is just a little doll. I know how you feel, having a little girl is just so much fun too. Enjoy every moment. Maddie is now 6 and I still love dressing her up...LOL
