This past Sunday, our Senior Pastor announced his resignation and calling to go to be the district superintendent of the Iowa/Minnesota district. He will be moving later this summer. Our church family was shocked and deeply saddened by this news, but we are trusting God to begin a new season for us in Brookings. I'm sure this new season will be very difficult and emotional, but God is big and our faith is in Him alone. Pastor Tim and his family were very close friends of our family, and we will miss them immensely. We are grateful for the time we had with them, and are praying that God will be very close to them in the days to come.
Our staff is preparing to take on the task of leading our congregation in larger ways for a while. We are praying for a leader who will rise to the challenge and call God has given to BWC... he will be following a very influential and effective leader! Whatever circumstance God allows you to be in the middle of... always trust that He will equip you perfectly for how He is calling you to respond. Whatever, whenever, wherever.

I just heard and was SHOCKED to say the least. We were in Mpls, SO HAD NOT HEARD....OH MY GOODNESS. i AM SOOOOO SAD ABOUT THIS.
